Rick E Norris, JD, CPA (Co-star, guitarist, background vocals)

Rick is the creator and writer of Rambling Business, his second podcast. His first podcast, Improv-ing Business ran 75 episodes from December 2014 through May of 2016. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from U.C.L.A. in 1979. After receiving his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1982, he earned a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 1985. He founded Rick E. Norris, Accountancy Corporation in 1992 (http://www.ricknorriscpa.com). He has published articles in the California “CPA Society magazine”, among other periodicals, including RickNorrisCPA.com weekly newsletter. Rick has sat on the California CPA Society Entertainment Industry Conference Planning Committee which is held annually in Beverly Hills, CA. He was also a President of the L A Chapter of the Association for Strategic Planning. Rick is a talented guitarist and composer and he writes the Rambling Business’ songs performed by the family each month on the Podcast. His EP, Angelic Wars, the First Rebellion can be found on ITunes which will be part of his multi-media novel by the same title due out in the new future. Ricks speaks frequently at various events in the Los Angeles area on personal and business financial matters.

Brandon Norris(Co-star, background vocals)

Brandon Norris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from the University of California, Irvine in 2010, and his Masters Degree in Creative Writing from the University of California, Davis in 2014. He studied comedy improv since high school at Comedy Sportz, and Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB). He was the captain of the improv teams at UC, Irvine, and UC, Davis. He performed in the 75 episodes of the Improv-ing Business podcast. Brandon sang at Carnegie Hall with his high school in 2006.

Devin S. Norris (Producer, pianist)

Devin Norris graduated from the University of California, Irvine studying jazz under Jazz legend, Kai Akagi (keyboardist for Miles Davis). In 2013 his band won the Angel City Young Artist Competition. He has co-produced and composed music for both Improv-ing Business and Rambling Business podcasts. In addition to writing and performing Jazz, he has written string arrangements for Grammy winning artist Faith Evans, The Common Kings, Clinton Sparks, Benny Briggs, and Asleep at the Gate. His music can also be heard on CBS, A&E, The Disney Channel, Nickelodeon and CBS Sports. His latest venture is musical compositions on A&E’s hit show, Born this Way. He collaborates with his father in the Rambling Business series’ songs performed by family and friends.

Satya Fuentes(Lead vocals, video producer)

Satya sings lead in the family series’s songs in addition to creating the video productions. She is a Los Angeles based pianist, vocalist and composer.

Satya is an alumni of the prestigious Orange County High School of Arts as a piano major and has also attended the  the Berklee School of Music summer residency program in Boston. Currently, Satya is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in jazz piano performance at the Herb Alpert School of Music at UCLA. 

Satya performs regularly as the keyboardist and vocalist in the alternative/soul band “Asleep At The Gate” which is signed to TEKzen music, record label of Grammy Award winning engineer and producer, Chris “Tek” O’Ryan (Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, David Guetta). In 2014,  Satya performed with Asleep at the Gate as finalists in the “Best Live Band” division of the OC Music Awards. Asleep at the Gate has been promoted by Ciara and Kevin Mchale of Glee and were recently featured as finalists in the Grammy U “Rock the Mic Showcase.” 

As a jazz pianist, Satya was awarded the distinguished Harry and Marjorie Ann Slim Scholarship in 2013 and has won numerous awards including the 1st Place award in the combo division of the Reno Jazz Festival in 2012. In 2014, Satya performed in an ensemble that were finalists in the Angel City Jazz Festival. Satya has studied with Kenny Burrell, Kei Akagi, Matt Harris, and Tamir Hendelman. 

Satya is also a distinguished composer and songwriter and is passionate about writing music for a spectrum of  ensembles and artists. When she’s not performing or composing, Satya is passionate about music education and providing high quality musical instruction to her diverse group of students.

Amber Manley (background vocals)

Amber won the 2015 Freedom for You Teen Idol contest. She sings at various events and is finishing her final year in high school.

Austin Norris (background vocals)

Austin is a pre-med major (neurobiology) at the University of California, San Diego. With his high school he sang at Carnegie Hall, Windsor Castle and Notre Dame Cathedral. He was Co-CIF player of the year in high school water polo and played up to his sophomore year in college. He was a member of the UCSD men’s glee club.
