Rambling Business finishes our California’s Silicon Valley series by examining one of the most unusual edifices in Silicon Valley, the looming 80-foot tower in Palo Alto on El Camino Blvd. There are no written records of this tower, but it currently sits in the middle of a Dinah’s Garden Hotel’s driveway and used to attract customers. It continues to create a buzz about its origin and serves as an attraction for local businesses. But where did it come from? Nobody knows.
